Job summary

Responsibilities

  • Train and supervise all personnel under this position to ensure total customer satisfaction.
  • Schedule work processes and take responsibility for quality and efficiency.
  • Supervise safe operations at packaging lines, ensuring compliance with regulations.
  • Verify all paperwork to ensure customer instructions are accurately followed.
  • Conduct bulk verification before starting new railcar or bulk orders.
  • Print and verify labels from K1, ensuring correct item, lot, weight, and country of origin when applicable.
  • Set up and maintain printers, ensuring test print accuracy.
  • Operate and maintain safe packaging, material handling, and visual inspection processes within EHS and quality guidelines.
  • Follow and maintain Good Packaging Practices (GPPs).
  • Complete all required paperwork before order submission.
  • Maintain accurate inventory records and verify physical stock with K1 data.
  • Perform light maintenance tasks as needed.
  • Conduct blowdowns and line inspections before every order.
  • Set up transfer hoses for railcar packaging while following GPPs.
  • Enforce rail yard safety guidelines when moving railcars.
  • Complete daily productivity reports and Shoplogix logs.
  • Maintain warehouse cleanliness and adhere to Quantix housekeeping standards.
  • Treat team members with fairness and respect.
  • Follow the chain of command and maintain clear communication with management.
  • Comply with all EHS, Responsible Care, and Operation Clean Sweep guidelines.
  • Complete assigned training via Paylocity.
  • Utilize Stop Work Authority when necessary.
  • Maintain organization and cleanliness within assigned areas.
  • Perform other duties as assigned by management.
