Job summary

PDI is seeking a Packaging Lab Engineer to support NPI initiatives, maintain existing product lines, and drive cost-saving improvements. You will conduct lab tests, prototype products, and generate detailed reports to meet project milestones. This role offers hands-on engineering in a dynamic environment with exposure to cGMP concepts.

Recent graduates are welcome; internship experience in an engineering lab is a plus, with opportunities to develop skills in 3D printing and production equipment.

Qualifications

• BS Packaging, Mechanical Engineering or equivalent degree preferred.

Responsibilities

• Supports product development teams on NPI initiatives.
• Conducts tests and records data accurately for timely milestones.
• Develops protocols, writes reports, and summarizes test data.
• Participates in line trials and activities at the manufacturing plant.
• Works with engineers to ensure alignment to specifications.
• Flexible to perform other duties as assigned.
