Job summary

Jobvite, Inc. in Tolleson, AZ is seeking a Loader/Unloader to support the Purchasing department. The role focuses on loading/unloading packaging materials, coordinating with Inventory Control, and ensuring accurate handling of goods to keep production moving.

You will work with the Inventory Control Lead and Supervisor, participate in weekly inventory, and help maintain storage and organization using 5S principles. Previous experience in a fast-paced manufacturing setting is preferred.

Qualifications

• Experience in packaging or manufacturing environment.
• Able to perform loading/unloading and inventory support.
• Must be able to work long hours including weekends.
• Knowledge of 5S and safety procedures.

Responsibilities

• Communicate daily with Inventory Control Lead & Supervisor about concerns; report on time and notify for time off.
• Gather information from Inventory control leads and assist in inventory counts.
• Load/unload packaging as directed by Lead, Supervisor, and team.
• Call for trailers to be moved in/out of dock doors as needed.
• Assist in set up and staging of packaging materials in storage areas.
• Fill out trailer inspection sheet and submit to Inventory control lead.
• Count all inventory at week ending; report on Saturday if required.
• Assist with recounts of trailer stored items as directed.
• Meet with departments for coordination as needed; communicate deliveries.
• Support purchasing in coordinating with warehouse and leads.
• Review housekeeping and maintain storage areas; assist with putting away items.
• Work on organization based on the 5S model and plan improvements.
• Learn all aspects of the department as part of the team.
