Job summary

Madden Industrial Craftsmen is seeking individuals for Production Packaging on a graveyard shift in Tualatin, OR. This entry-level role offers on-the-job training with a fast-track plan to grow skills in industrial operations for a heat treating client.

Training on the Day shift (Mon-Fri, 7:00am–3:00pm) at $20–$21/hr, with a Regular shift from 11:00pm–7:00am offering $20–$21/hr base plus a $2 shift differential. There is significant room for advancement.

Qualifications

• Basic forklift experience required.
• Able to lift up to 20-50 lbs.
• Mechanically inclined and practical.
• Good attendance and positive attitude.
• Attention to detail is essential.
• Must be on your feet for the shift.
• Bending, pushing, pulling as needed.

Responsibilities

• Transport parts to staging area using forklifts, hoists, or pallet jacks.
• Load, unload, wash, and stack parts for heat treatment prep.
• Unpack and re-pack finished parts for shipment.
• Operate equipment to clean parts.
• Report problems to supervisor and operator.
• Maintain clean, orderly work area and good housekeeping.
• Perform additional duties and training as assigned.

Production Packaging - Graveyard Shift Duties and Responsibilities

• Transport parts to staging area for production using equipment such as forklifts, hoists, or pallet jacks.
• Load, unload, wash, and stack production parts to prepare for heat treatment.
• Unpack and re-pack finished parts in containers for shipment.
• Operate equipment to clean parts.
• Communicate problems to supervisor and operator.
• Maintain good housekeeping practices and keep area orderly.
• Straighten parts
• Other duties and training as assigned
