Job Description:

Packaging Graphics Senior Project Coordinator, SIBG, Costa Rica

As Packaging Graphics Senior Project Coordinator, you will play a key role in working closely with your supervisor to manage transition process or SOP’s management and being an SME for the team members in CR, but also to support Lead Project Management in USAC as backup in the division of Safety and Industrial Business Group. In this role you will be able to work with the team members and external agencies to produce design insights and solutions; contribute through tasks and activities to the development of 3M Innovations, Products & Services or specific brand experiences. Works within well-defined approaches, systems, and processes; interacts with design community members, technology specialists to secure design-specification and advice. Continue professional development by handling project assignments that require developing integral design skills or more detailed understanding of discipline specific design techniques and best practices.

The impact you will make on this role
  • Gaining knowledge about design, coordination of work related to the creation/changes of artworks pre-printed by external suppliers, procedures, responsibilities, policies and systems.
  • Responsible for completing assigned tasks within SLA targets (i.e. request resolution and taking actions under the team's control and responsibility).
  • Support for escalation of issues as needed.
  • Acting as active back up for Team Supervisor.
  • Responsible for development of ad-hoc reports and analysis. May include project management for service transitions or process improvements (including workshop facilitation).

Your Skills and Expertise

To set you up for success in this role from day one, 3M is looking for candidates who must have the following qualifications:

  • 3-4 years of relevant working experience.
  • Good written and verbal communication skills in English (English B2 as minimum).

Additional qualifications that could help you succeed even further in this role include:

  • Agile mindset, Continuous Improvement skills (must be a plus).
  • Project Management (must be a plus).
  • Previous experience in project management, procurement, Packaging Solutions, equivalent in design, design research, and production management within the creative or printing industry is preferred.
  • Proficiency in MS Office to include Word, Excel, and PowerPoint, MS Teams, Microsoft List.
  • Power BI knowledge.
  • Excellent organizational and planning skills.
  • High attention to detail.
  • Ability to handle confidential information and complete assignments under pressure and short timelines.
  • Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to interact professionally with all levels of the organization.
  • Ability to search for information.
  • A Bachelor level or higher university degree specifically, a Bachelor of Science or equivalent in Quality, Business administration, design, design research or art management education is preferred.
