Job summary

The Simplot Company is seeking a forklift operator responsible for moving, locating, stacking and counting merchandise safely at our Pasco, WA facility. This role requires operating forklifts, following safety rules, and supporting packaging and inventory tasks.

Typical duties include reading order sheets, moving pallets, handling inventory receipts, and assisting with cleaning and sanitation of packaging equipment. High school diploma or GED and 1+ years of related experience are preferred.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 1+ years related experience and/or training preferred.

Responsibilities

• Read daily order sheet to select and move the correct tote of product.
• Move finished pallets from the roasting room to the warehouse or loading dock.
• Move empty totes to be cleaned.
• Handle inventory receiving transactions.
• Adhere to all company policies and safety rules.
• Assist other packaging employees with cleaning and sanitizing packaging equipment, palletizing, and breaking down empty totes.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
