Job summary

AstenJohnson is seeking a Packaging Associate in Williston, VT to support production and shipping with safe, accurate packaging of finished goods. The role involves weighing, labeling, boxing, and cross-functional teamwork with Production and Shipping & Receiving.

Starting pay is $24.25 per hour. Requires forklift certification and some manufacturing experience; Lean Sigma certification is a plus. Overtime opportunities and comprehensive benefits are offered.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• One or more years of manufacturing experience preferred.
• Forklift certification required.
• Lean Sigma concepts certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Supply packaging materials to production lines and label finished goods.
• Oversee boxing of finished goods with data entry and set up production lines.
• Perform visual inspections of packaged products for labeling accuracy and quality.
• Set up racks for doff changes.
• Assist with loading/unloading inbound/outbound trucks and supporting production.
• Maintain a clean, organized area following 5S.
• Support inventory counts and audits.
• Follow safety procedures and PPE.
