Job summary

Quad is seeking a Planner/Estimator to support planning, estimating, and execution of custom packaging and display projects. You will translate customer concepts into manufacturable solutions through accurate cost estimates, production plans, and routings.

You will work on folding cartons, corrugated packaging, POP displays, labels, and other packaging solutions, balancing customer needs with cost, quality, capacity and efficiency.

Qualifications

• Assocate degree preferred; relevant experience may be considered.
• Bachelor’s degree in Packaging Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Manufacturing, Business, or related field is a plus.
• Three+ years in estimating, production planning, manufacturing, packaging, printing or related fields.

Responsibilities

• Develop accurate and competitive cost estimates based on specs, materials, labor, equipment, and processes.
• Review specs, artwork, dielines, and requirements to assess feasibility and cost-effective production options.
• Create production plans and routings to optimize efficiency, cost, and quality.
• Estimate projects involving folding cartons, corrugated packaging, labels, POS displays, and other packaging solutions.
• Collaborate with Sales, Customer Experience, Structural Design, Purchasing, Scheduling, and Manufacturing throughout projects.
