Job summary
Jobot is seeking a Maintenance Technician in Lenoir City, TN for an on-site, permanent role. You will perform preventive and corrective maintenance on production equipment and building systems, troubleshoot gearboxes, motors, pumps, and packaging lines, and support installations and startups.
The ideal candidate has 3+ years of manufacturing maintenance experience, basic electrical knowledge, and the ability to read schematics.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED required; 3+ years in manufacturing equipment maintenance and repair.
- Strong mechanical and electrical troubleshooting; able to read schematics and diagrams.
- Familiar with production and packaging automation, pneumatics, vacuum systems, and form-fill-seal/packaging equipment.
- Basic PLC/HMI signal interpretation; familiarity with Allen-Bradley/Omron/Panasonic equipment.
Responsibilities
- Perform corrective, preventive, and predictive maintenance on production equipment and building systems.
- Troubleshoot and repair gearboxes, motors, vacuum pumps, roasters, grinders, conveyors, and packaging equipment.
- Diagnose mechanical and electrical faults using schematics, diagrams, and PLC/HMI signals.
- Maintain pneumatic valves, positioning systems, rotary airlocks, diverters, dust extraction equipment, screens, and shakers.
- Service filling, sealing, conveying, weighing, and batching equipment.
- Assist with equipment installations, removals, commissioning, startups, and shutdowns.
- Coordinate with maintenance planners and vendors; ensure parts usage and replenishment.
- Support process improvements and facility expansion; ensure food safety and GMP compliance.
