Job summary

QRC Group, LLC is seeking an experienced Packing Engineer with strong expertise in primary packaging materials and processes to lead technical efforts on critical pharma projects. You'll work quickly with project teams, providing independent technical leadership, ensuring compliance and quality across packaging operations, and collaborating with global cross-functional stakeholders.

The role requires a Doctorate in Engineering with five years in packing, and bilingual English/Spanish, enabling

Qualifications

  • Doctorate degree in Engineering with five years of experience in Packing.
  • Strong knowledge in Packing process and validation activities.
  • Bilingual (English & Spanish).

Responsibilities

  • Conduct technical assessments and comparisons between sites, including evaluation of bulk tablet handling and finished product packaging processes.
  • Support engineering batches, line trials, and packaging process validation activities.
  • Lead and support quality investigations, including root cause analysis and CAPAs.
  • Review change controls and assess impacts, risks, and required deliverables.
  • Perform technical evaluations to determine potential impacts on product quality, compliance, stability, and supply continuity.
  • Develop, review, and maintain material specifications and resolve discrepancies between supplier requirements and Johnson & Johnson requirements.
  • Collaborate with global cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
  • Provide additional technical support to meet project and business objectives.

Job Description

We are looking for an experienced Packing Engineer with expertise in primary packaging materials and processes, demonstrate independence, and integrate quickly with project teams to provide immediate technical leadership.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Conduct technical assessments and comparisons between the sending and receiving sites, including evaluation of bulk tablet handling and finished product packaging processes.
  • Support engineering batches, line trials, and packaging process validation activities.
  • Lead and support quality investigations, including root cause analysis, product impact assessments, and identification of appropriate corrective and preventive actions (CAPAs).
  • Review change controls and assess associated impacts, risks, and required deliverables.
  • Perform technical evaluations to determine potential impacts on product quality, compliance, stability, and overall supply continuity.
  • Develop, review, and maintain material specifications, while managing and resolving any discrepancies between supplier requirements and Johnson & Johnson requirements.
  • Collaborate effectively with global cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
  • Provide additional technical support as required to meet project and business objectives.
