• Proficiency in CAD software (e.g., SolidWorks, AutoCAD) for package design and analysis.
• Demonstrated knowledge of packaging materials and manufacturing processes (plastics, paperboard, glass, metals).
• Experience with packaging test methods and industry standards (ISTA, ASTM).
• Strong understanding of supply chain logistics and how packaging impacts shipping, storage, and handling.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and qualify packaging for new and existing products, ensuring manufacturability and cost-effectiveness.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including R&D, manufacturing, and supply chain to define packaging requirements and specifications.
• Conduct packaging material selection, testing, and validation to ensure compliance with regulatory standards and performance requirements.
• Optimize current packaging solutions for improved efficiency, reduced waste, and enhanced product protection.
• Develop and maintain packaging documentation, including specifications, test methods, and assembly instructions.
• Investigate and resolve packaging-related issues, implementing corrective actions and preventive measures.
• Evaluate and implement new packaging technologies and materials to drive innovation and sustainability initiatives.
