Job summary

YETI is seeking a Packaging Engineer in Austin, Texas. In this role, you will support the design and development of premium packaging solutions while ensuring sustainability and cost-effectiveness. You'll collaborate with diverse teams to optimize packaging specifications and conduct performance testing.

The ideal candidate has a Bachelor's degree in Packaging Engineering and at least 2 years of experience in packaging roles. Strong organization and communication skills are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Packaging Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or related degree preferred.
• 2+ years' experience in a Packaging Engineering role.
• Familiarity with packaging testing methodology (i.e. ISTA & ASTM) and packaging software.

Responsibilities

• Support the development of packaging solutions for new and existing products.
• Develop and maintain packaging specifications and assembly instructions.
• Work cross-functionally with various teams to execute packaging solutions.
• Design and conduct packaging performance testing and trials.
• Initiate and drive packaging efficiencies with partners.
• Research and stay updated on packaging innovations.
