Job summary

Dreyer’s Grand Ice Cream is seeking a Technical Packaging Lead to drive Innovation & Renovation, Buy Better, and Quality improvements across packaging. You will support factories, optimize line performance, and manage packaging development from ideation to industrialization, ensuring safety, quality, and cost efficiency.

The role collaborates with Marketing, Operations, and Procurement to align packaging with brand strategy and sustainability goals while managing vendor relationships and project

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Packaging Science or equivalent.
• Demonstrated knowledge of packaging materials, structures, and equipment.
• Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead and develop the Packaging team and drive the packaging development strategy.
• Coordinate with Quality and Operations to prevent packaging defects and optimize performance.
• Work with suppliers and vendors to ensure packaging specifications and testing.
• Design palletization patterns to optimize transportation costs and stability.
• Ensure timely provision of technical packaging data for graphics and labeling.
