Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Packaging, Mechanical, Industrial or related technical field.
- 5–7 years packaging engineering experience in industrial/manufacturing.
- Experience with metal components (castings, forgings, machined parts).
- Knowledge of corrosion-prevention packaging methods for ferrous/non-ferrous metals.
- Hands-on ISTA/ASTM transit and performance testing experience.
- Proficiency with CAD tools for packaging/dunnage design and structural design software.
- Experience with international suppliers and global logistics/export packaging requirements.
- Strong cross-functional collaboration with Sourcing, Quality, Manufacturing Engineering, and Product Management.
- Data-driven cost/protection trade-off decisions; able to build cost models and present to leadership.
