Job summary

L&T Technology Services LTD is seeking a Mechanical Engineer with packaging machinery experience for our Covington, TN facility. The role covers evaluating equipment performance, supporting EOL systems, palletizing, coordinating vendors, and developing specs for changes.

Proficiency in AutoCAD and 3D model integration is required; offshore support may be used for extra modeling hours as needed; BE degree is required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Engineering required.
• Experience with packaging equipment is needed.
• 5+ years in related domain preferred.
• Food & Beverage / hygienic industries experience a plus.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate suitability and performance of packaging equipment from fillers to secondary packaging.
• Support End-of-Line (EOL) systems and palletizing operations.
• Coordinate with equipment vendors.
• Develop and finalize technical specs for equipment changes and packaging/product changeovers.
• Provide engineering support for process improvements and optimization.
• Proficient in AutoCAD and capable of developing/modifying packaging line layouts.
• Coordinate and integrate 3D models within the plant design environment.
• Lead 3D model coordination with potential offshore support for additional hours.
