Job summary

Equity Packaging Inc. - North America is seeking a Packaging R&D professional to drive innovation and productivity projects in Connecticut. You will oversee projects from concept to commercialization and support packaging changes across retail shelves.

The role requires a strong background in Packaging/R&D for consumer products, effective communication, and collaboration with internal customers and cross-functional teams to achieve cost savings and specification development.

Qualifications

• Graduate/ Engineering in Packaging or related field.
• 3-5 years minimum experience in Packaging R&D for CPG, Consumer Products, Food & Beverage or related industries.
• Good communication skills both oral and written.

Responsibilities

• Manage and execute packaging innovation and productivity projects.
• Manage Innovation Project from concept through commercialization and retail shelves.
• Work with internal customers to commercialize packaging designs and concepts.
• Represent packaging in cross functional team meetings to develop and implement new packaging and packaging changes to realize cost savings.
• Conduct line trials.
• Develop packaging specifications.
