Job summary

Equity Packaging, Inc. is seeking a packaging engineer to manage and execute packaging innovation and productivity projects in a hybrid, full-time role in Connecticut. You will drive projects from concept to commercialization and work with internal customers to bring packaging designs to market.

The position requires a Packaging Engineering degree and 3–5 years of packaging R&D experience, with strong communication skills for collaboration across teams and vendors.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or higher in Packaging Engineering or related field.
• 3–5 years minimum experience in Packaging R&D for CPG/food & beverage or related industries.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Manage and execute packaging innovation and productivity projects.
• Lead innovation projects from concept through commercialization and into retail shelves.
• Collaborate with internal customers to commercialize packaging designs and concepts.
• Represent packaging in cross-functional teams to implement cost-saving packaging changes.
• Conduct line trials and develop packaging specifications.
