Job summary

Cooler Master USA is seeking a Packaging Engineer to develop and optimize product packaging that protects products, meets client requirements, and reduces costs. The role covers packaging design, validation, cost analysis, and cross‑functional collaboration to support new product development and production.

This position requires international travel, including to China, to support packaging development and manufacturing at overseas facilities.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree or higher in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Design, Packaging Engineering, or related field.
Minimum 2 years of experience in packaging structure design.
Proficient in Creo, AutoCAD, or similar design software.
Basic knowledge of packaging testing methods and standards.
Fluent in Mandarin and English.
U.S. work experience preferred.

Responsibilities

Perform packaging design evaluation, cost analysis, and container loading optimization.
Design packaging solutions and create 2D/3D drawings.
Conduct packaging trials, sample builds, and validation testing.
Support pilot production and analyze issues with new packaging materials/designs.
Perform packaging reliability testing and verification.
Optimize existing packaging solutions to improve performance and reduce cost.
Communicate and collaborate with cross‑functional teams to resolve issues.
Travel to China to support packaging validation, production, and supplier coordination.
