Job summary

YETI is seeking a Packaging Engineer in the United States to design premium out-of-box experiences for our products, balancing performance, sustainability, and cost throughout the product lifecycle.

You will develop packaging specifications, collaborate with product, engineering, marketing, sourcing, and operations, run ISTA/ASTM tests, and help automate UPC labeling and PLM packaging inputs.

Qualifications

• 2+ years’ experience in a Packaging Engineering role.
• Familiarity with ISTA and ASTM testing methods.
• Experience with packaging software TOPS or MaxLoad Pro.

Responsibilities

• Develop and optimize packaging solutions for new and existing products.
• Create and maintain packaging specifications and assembly instructions.
• Collaborate with product, design, sourcing, and operations teams to ensure on-time packaging.
• Plan and conduct packaging performance testing with proper documentation.
• Drive packaging efficiency with logistics and manufacturing partners.
• Support PLM packaging inputs and system rollouts.
