The Wooster Brush Company is seeking a Packaging Engineer to lead the design and development of protective packaging for consumer products. The Wooster Brush Company produces more than 2,000 high quality and innovative products to support the growing professional and DIY painter’s market. The packaging engineer will manage and implement both new and improved packaging concepts, designs and assembly methods suited for consumer products; both professional and homeowner quality. This individual will be required to work across multiple functions (Operations, Manufacturing Engineering, Purchasing, Sales, and Marketing) to ensure the successful launch of new products and improvements to legacy products.
This position does not have any supervisory responsibilities.
This is a full-time position. Days and hours of work are Monday through Friday, 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. (Short term circumstances may require variance to these hours of work.)
Low to Moderate travel can be expected for this position. Some travel could be overnight and/or international.
This job operates in both a professional office environment and a manufacturing facility. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, etc.
While performing the duties of this job, the employee may experience certain tasks or work areas that require hearing protection to be worn.
