Job summary

Intellectt INC seeks a Packaging/Mechanical Engineer with 5–10+ years of experience in packaging machinery and automated systems to optimize and integrate equipment on our production lines in Covington, TN.

The role requires strong AutoCAD skills for line layouts and close collaboration with vendors to ensure seamless integration into existing lines. Onsite work in Covington is essential.

Qualifications

• B.E./B.Tech in Mechanical Engineering.
• 5–10+ years of relevant Mechanical/Packaging Engineering experience.
• Experience with packaging machinery or automated packaging systems.
• Experience in Food & Beverage, CPG, or manufacturing environments.
• Strong AutoCAD experience, including packaging line layouts.
• Willingness to work onsite in Covington, TN.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate the suitability and performance of packaging equipment from fillers through secondary packaging.
• Support end-of-line systems, including palletizing operations.
• Coordinate directly with packaging equipment vendors.
• Develop and finalize technical specifications for equipment modifications and product/packaging changeovers.
• Provide engineering support for packaging process improvements and optimization.
• Develop and modify packaging line layouts using AutoCAD.
• Coordinate and integrate 3D models within the overall plant design environment.
• Lead 3D model coordination activities and leverage additional modeling support when required.
• Review layout impacts, equipment placement, utility requirements, and integration of new packaging equipment into existing production lines.

Job Summary

Seeking a Packaging Engineer / Mechanical Engineer with 5 10+ years of experience in packaging machinery and automated packaging systems within manufacturing environments. The engineer will evaluate packaging equipment from filling through secondary and end-of-line packaging, support equipment integration and process improvements, and coordinate with equipment vendors. Strong AutoCAD skills are required for developing and modifying packaging line layouts. Experience coordinating 3D plant models, equipment placement, utilities, changeovers, and integration into existing production lines is preferred. Food & Beverage, Ice Cream/Dairy, Food Processing, or other hygienic manufacturing experience is strongly preferred.

• Must have experience integrating packaging equipment into manufacturing production lines.
