Job summary

Alcora Corporation is seeking a Package Development Coordinator in a hybrid role based in Miami, FL. You will support the Director of Package Development & Innovation in developing and commercializing primary, secondary, and tertiary packaging, coordinating projects, samples, testing, artwork, suppliers, and production activities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Packaging Engineering, Industrial Design, Engineering, Supply Chain, Business, or related discipline.
• 2–4 years of experience in packaging development, manufacturing, quality, or project coordination.
• Experience in beauty, personal care, or consumer packaged goods preferred.
• Strong organizational, documentation, and follow-up skills.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and project-management tools.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate packaging development activities for new products, existing-product updates, kits, and samples.
• Maintain trackers, timelines, milestones, and action items; communicate risks or delays.
• Coordinate packaging samples, artwork, color standards, pre-production samples, and approvals.
• Support tooling projects by tracking drawings, prototypes, qualifications, validations, and production readiness.
• Maintain packaging specifications, approved standards, and supporting documentation.
• Prepare and distribute Product Specification Sheets and Fill & Assembly Instructions.
• Coordinate packaging testing and document results across multiple tests.
• Provide approved artwork and specs to Quality for inspections and manuals.
• Collaborate with suppliers, contract manufacturers, fillers, and internal teams.
• Support line trials, scale-ups, and first production runs; participate on-site when required.
• Partner with Product Development and Quality to resolve packaging or production issues.
• Assist in developing shippers, case packs, and transit-packaging configurations.
• Maintain organized records of approvals, test results, and project documentation.
