Job summary

Cella is seeking a talent-driven Packaging Production Designer to manage the packaging pipeline from concept sketches to production-ready artwork in a luxury beauty environment. You will champion premium packaging solutions while integrating cutting-edge AI tools to elevate creative concepts.

Reporting to the Director of Packaging, you will lead cross-functional collaboration with Marketing, Product Development, and external vendors, delivering multiple packaging projects within brand guidelines

Qualifications

• Degree in Graphic Design or equivalent professional experience.
• Experience in packaging design for beauty/luxury preferred.
• Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite and Figma; familiarity with AI design tools.

Responsibilities

• Concept, design, and develop primary and secondary packaging.
• Create production-ready artwork following brand charters.
• Collaborate with Marketing, Product Development, and external vendors to ensure feasibility and luxury quality.
• Manage multiple packaging projects and maintain digital asset libraries and naming conventions.
• Research luxury market trends and competitive analysis to fuel innovative design solutions.

In this role, you will champion luxury packaging solutions while exploring cutting-edge AI tools to elevate creative concepts.Responsibilities:Report directly to the Director of Packaging to concept, design, and develop primary and secondary packaging solutions.Create production-ready artwork following strict brand packaging charters.Lead cross-functional collaboration with Marketing, Product Development, and external production vendors to ensure design feasibility and luxury quality compliance.Manage multiple packaging projects simultaneously while organizing and maintaining digital asset libraries, file templates, and naming conventions.Conduct ongoing research on luxury market trends and competitive analysis to fuel innovative design solutions.Qualifications:Education & Experience: Degree in Graphic Design (or equivalent professional experience) with proven, successful experience as a packaging designer.Industry Background: Beauty and/or luxury product experience is highly preferred; packaging design backgrounds in toys, food, or beverage are also welcome.Technical Mastery: Expert knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, InDesign, Illustrator), proficiency in Figma, and expert knowledge of Mac/System software.Innovation & Skills: Familiarity with exploring and utilizing Artificial Intelligence (AI) design tools.
