Lead Recruiter at Creative Circle - Chicago area

Our manufacturing client, in the medical device space, is looking for a Packaging Designer to join their team for the next 2 months.

This role is fully Remote. You must have your own computer with Solidworks or similar packaging design software.

This is an exciting role for Packaging Designer to join their team on 2 different projects creating and sourcing packaging solutions. One package would be plain with no graphics while the other includes more colors, logos, and design elements in addition to the structural design. The ideal candidate would have a consultative approach to work with the client on different options.

Project One

Custom design carton for an upcoming clinical trail. You'll be responsible for creating the final print ready file using Solidworks or comparable software, including die lines and folding patterns to create the prototype that is print ready. There will be no graphics on the carton just a white kit for the trial.

Project Two

The client has a medical device in development that they need to create a display case to bring to leadership, conferences, etc. to start showcasing the product. This box needs to house a sample of the device. Then 15-20 smaller displays to showcase the actual components of the device.

Requirements Of The Packaging Designer

• Previous Packaging Experience; medical industry is a PLUS
• Ability to create several mock packaging options including die line and folding patterns
• Create print ready files in ideally Solidworks or other similar software
