Job summary

Mettler Toledo AG in Florida is seeking a Packaging Clerk to assist in preparing orders, packaging products for shipment or storage, and organizing packaging materials such as boxes, tape, and labels. You will follow established packing procedures to ensure accurate and efficient shipments, maintain a clean and organized work area per 5S guidelines, and report equipment issues to leadership.

You will also support inventory accuracy by labeling, delivering notes, and using RF devices.

Responsibilities

• Assist in preparing orders of low complexity, such as small boxes and crates.
• Perform Quality at The Source when staging materials.
• Collect and organize packaging materials, such as boxes, tape, protective wraps, wooden materials, and labels.
• Perform Quality at The Source when preparing materials for shipment.
• Utilize the disturbance tracker.
• Assist in following established packing procedures to support the accurate and efficient shipment of products.
• Ensure the areas are clean, neat, and organized at all times in accordance with our 5s guidelines.
• Identify any equipment issues and report defects or inconsistencies to the leadership team for further action.
• Perform basic documentation tasks such as labeling, delivery notes and dimension sheets.
• Support inventory accuracy through the use of the established processes.
• Utilize Kaizen Newspaper to identify continuous improvement (CI) opportunities.
• Ability to operate a manual pallet jack.
• Use Radio Frequency device to process and fulfill orders.
• Cycle Counting
• Other duties and tasks as assigned.
