JOB SUMMARY

Package finished goods in accordance with instructions on engineering process sheets.

GENERAL EMPLOYMENT REQUIREMENTS

SPECIFIC JOB FUNCTIONS

• • Packages antenna per instructions on the engineering process sheets. May assemble wooden containers or use pre-made cardboard boxes.
• • Inserts items into containers, using spacers, fillers, and protective padding.
• • Covers nails on wooden crates and binds containers with metal tape, using strapping machine, tapes or glues.
• • Stamps, stencils, or glues identifying information and shipping instructions onto crates or containers.
• • Posts weights.

PHYSICAL JOB REQUIREMENTS

• • Lifting up to 50# with no restrictions
• • Healthy wrist-arm motion – repetitive motion of arms and shoulders
• • Vision, with or without correction, must be adequate to perform the required job functions
• • Use epoxies, glues, sealants, and labeling materials, etc. used in packing items
• • Able to work in a manufacturing environment where reasonable exposure to dust and fumes can be tolerated
• • Gripping and crimping steel banding, reaching, stretching, and bending
• • Ability to stand up to 8 hours
