Job summary

Altium Packaging in Phoenix, AZ is hiring a Production Packaging Associate, an entry-level role responsible for proper packaging of materials and finished products. You will also load, move materials, and operate packaging equipment while following GMPs.

The position requires basic math and computer skills, a high school diploma or GED, and completion of the internal Altium training within 90 days. Overtime may be required; the work is on second shift with standard PPE provided.

Qualifications

• Minimum High School diploma or GED.
• Basic math and basic computer skills required.
• Completion of Altium Production/Packaging Associate I training within 90 days of hire date.

Responsibilities

• Wear PPE and follow safety policies.
• Be punctual and adhere to the schedule.
• Work well with others as part of a team.
• Follow General Manufacturing Policies.
• Maintain a neat, clean, and organized workspace.
• Monitor conveyors and clear bottle jams.
• Pick up dropped bottles and bin properly.
• Dispose bottles into grinder where applicable.
• Inspect bottle quality during production and labeling.
• Perform bottle inspections including drop tests.
• Escalate bottle abnormalities and defects immediately.
• Monitor and replenish packaging materials.
• Ensure correct labeling and packaging per customer specs.
• Move finished goods to designated area.
• Set up and organize workstations efficiently.
• Maintain inventory and restock for shift transitions.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
• Duties may vary by plant.
• Overtime may be required.
