Job summary

Novolex is hiring a Packaging Associate II for Mineral Wells, WV. This role involves packing quality product for shipment, verifying integrity of finished goods, and maintaining a clean work area. The position operates on 6:00 am–6:00 pm or 6:00 pm–6:00 am on a 2x2x3 schedule, with a starting pay of $16.78 per hour and a $1 night differential.

Weekly pay is provided. Experience in a fast-paced manufacturing setting is preferred; teamwork and adherence to standard work instructions are essential

Qualifications

• Experience in a fast-paced manufacturing environment is preferred.
• Able to work as part of a team and follow standard work instructions.
• Ability to maintain quality and safety in packaging operations.

Responsibilities

• Pack quality product into boxes for shipment.
• Check finished product for quality issues off the conveyor.
• Pack and label containers and lids into sleeves and boxes (0 to <5 lb).
• Grind scrap material from sleeves (0 to <5 lb).
• Hand tape or send boxed product to the tape machine.
• Keep the work area clean and orderly.
• Build and label boxes as needed.
• Re-pack product as needed.
• Clean inside and outside of machinery.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Job Description

Packaging Associate II|Mineral Wells, WV|

Compensation:

• Starting pay rate from $16.78/hour-Paid Weekly
• $1 differential for night shift!

Available Shift:

• 6:00 am-6:00 pm 2x2x3 schedule
• 6:00pm-6:00am 2x2x3 schedule

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Responsible for packing quality product into boxes for shipment.
• Checks finished product for quality issues, as it comes off the conveyor.
• Packs plastic containers and lids of various sizes into sleeves & boxes (0 to less than 5 pounds).
• Grinding scrap material out of sleeves (0 to less than 5 pounds).
• Hand tape or send boxed product to the “tape machine”.
• Responsible for keeping the work area clean.
• Builds and labels boxes as needed.
• Grinds poor quality product.
• Re-packs product as needed.
• Cleans inside and outside of machinery.
• Other duties may be assigned.

Qualifications:

• Previous experience in a fast-paced manufacturing environment is highly preferred
• Ability to work with others effectively as a part of a team is essential.
• Ability to follow standard work instructions is required.
