Job summary

Novolex is seeking a Packing Associate in Grant Park, IL. The role supports various packaging operations, with starting pay at $17.98 per hour and night shifts available Sunday-Thursday and Monday-Friday.

You will perform quality checks, labeling, and packing tasks, while maintaining safety and accurate records. The position emphasizes teamwork, following work instructions, and contributing to a clean, safe work environment.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in a fast-paced manufacturing environment is highly preferred.
• Ability to work with others effectively as a part of a team is essential.
• Ability to follow standard work instructions is required.

Responsibilities

• Pack completed parts according to customer or company specification and perform rework as required for defectively labeled or packed parts (ensure proper box counts).
• Performs quality checks and ensures correct counts on various product sizes and packs into the appropriate packaging.
• Replacement of adhesive tape in hand tapers and automatic sealing machinery.
• Ensure that any finished goods or work in progress identification labels are present and placed in the correct position.
• Stacks finished product in correct configuration, ready for transportation.
• Responsible for ensuring good housekeeping, and that area(s) of responsibility are safe, clean and tidy.
• Promptly inform supervisor of any issues concerning health and safety, hygiene, quality and efficiencies.
• Follows all Company established rules and policies; Adheres to all Safety rules and regulations.
• Completes paperwork accurately and in a timely manner.

Packing Associate| Grant Park, IL|HIRING IMMEDIATELY

Starting Pay Rate

• $17.98 per hour

Available Shifts

• Sunday-Thursday 11:00 pm - 7:00 am
• Monday-Friday 3:00 pm - 11:00pm
