Openwork is seeking a Packaging Associate to join a leading manufacturing team responsible for hand-packing, assembly, inspection, and packaging of premium accessories and components in a climate-controlled facility. The role emphasizes accuracy, material handling, inventory control, and safety, with opportunities for overtime, cross-training, and career growth within a global brand.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED equivalent.
• At least 2 years of experience in logistics, warehousing, assembly, or manufacturing.
• Experience with ERP or WMS platforms (such as Microsoft Dynamics AX/Dynamics 365).
• Familiarity with ISO quality management and OSHA/EPA safety standards.
• Strong manual dexterity for small-parts assembly and packaging.
• Attention to detail and strong written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Hand-pack and kit accessories and components to exact specs.
• Operate packaging machines, card printers, and labeling equipment.
• Stock, stage, and distribute raw materials and finished goods.
• Inspect products for quality and accuracy.
• Perform cycle counts and reconcile inventory records.
• Safely operate pallet jacks and other material handling equipment.
• Support 5S and LEAN initiatives to improve workflow.
• Maintain a clean, safe workstation per OSHA/EPA/ISO guidelines.
