Novolex is seeking a Packer to support a fast-paced production warehouse environment in Bridgeview, IL. You will inspect products for defects, pack finished goods, and prepare shipments while maintaining safety and efficiency.

The role emphasizes teamwork, following standard work instructions, and meeting high-quality standards. PPE is provided, with a strong focus on reliability and safety in daily operations.

Job Description

Packer Compensation:

• Starting rate $19.61 an hour - paid weekly

Packer available day shifts: 7AM- 7PM

As a Packer, you will: Packer provides support for the operation team by working safely, in a fast paced production warehouse environment, while inspecting product for defects and packing finished goods in correct configuration.

• Package product into boxes and prepare for shipment
• Check for quality issues to product and contact team lead with issues
• Ensure you have enough supplies at your station (boxes, tape ect.)
• Keep station clean at all times
• Follow safety guidelines at all times

Education and/or Experience:

• Previous experience in a fast-paced manufacturing environment is highly preferred
• Ability to work with others effectively as a part of a team is essential.
• Ability to follow standard work instructions is required.

Physical Demand/Effort:

• Must wear Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) and clothing, when required, such as safety shoes, face masks, safety glasses, hearing protection, hard hat/bump cap, hair/beard net and gloves
• Ability to stand, walk, twist, stoop, squat, kneel, crawl, bend throughout the duration of the scheduled shift
• Prolonged standing while performing the duties of the job
• Job requires high level of manual dexterity with repetitive use of hands, shoulders, elbows, hips, knees, and ankles
