Job summary

Revance is seeking a Packaging Associate at the Johnson City, TN Manufacturing Plant. The role focuses on ensuring production assignments are met in a timely manner, with duties on the assembly line, labeling, carton preparation, and shipping packaging.

The position requires a high school diploma or equivalent, punctuality, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment while adhering to cGMP and SOP procedures. Noise may be loud and physical tasks are involved.

Responsibilities

• Work on an assembly line filling bottles, jars, etc., including placing lids/caps and packing finished product.
• Label containers.
• Unfold cartons to prepare for production and place tubes/insert inside cartons as they move.
• Prepare shipping cases by unfolding and taping bottoms.
• Check lot numbers/expiration dates on containers and package finished product for staging.
• Maintain a clean, organized work area and report production issues to a lead or supervisor.
• Flex into other departments as needed and follow cGMP/SOP requirements.

Job Summary:

The Packaging Associate ensures that production assignments are met in a timely manner.

• Location: Johnson City, TN Manufacturing Plant
• Hours: Monday-Friday 3:00PM-11:30PM

Responsibilities/Essential Duties:

• Work on assembly line that fills bottles, jars, etc. with product which requires a lot of repetitive tasks and job functions, from putting lids/caps on container to putting finished product in shipping case.
• Label containers
• Unfold cartons to prepare for production
• Place tubes, inserts inside carton as it moves along conveyor
• Prepare shipping cases by unfolding case and using tape dispenser to close bottom of box
• Check for lot number/expiration date on container
• Package all finished product and move to staging area.
• Keep area clean and neat.
• Notify lead person/supervisor of production issues.
• Work in other departments or areas as needed.
• Follow all cGMP procedures and Standard Operating Procedures (SOP)

Basic Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Consistent and punctual attendance.
• Must be quality driven with good attention to detail but also be able to work in a fast-paced environment.

Work Environment

Regularly works around moving mechanical parts. Noise level may be loud at times.

Physical Demands

Must be able to remain in a stationary position. Constant movement and use of limbs; this position requires good manual dexterity, coordination, and stamina. Frequently pushes, pulls, and lifts up to 20 lbs.
