Job summary

Novolex in Santa Fe Springs, CA is seeking a Packaging Associate (Conversion Only) to handle and package products on a production floor. The role requires basic education and familiarity with packaging processes.

The available 1st shift runs from 6:00 am to 2:30 pm, with weekly pay and a monthly productivity bonus. Excellent opportunities for growth and referral bonuses are highlighted in the role.

Qualifications

• Grade 10 or equivalent education; up to and including 3 months of related training or experience
• Mathematical skills: ability to add and subtract 4-digit numbers
• Mechanical skills: basic knowledge of machinery or process; may stop the machine, shut off glue lines, and clear jammed cartons
• Communication skills: read, write & understand basic English; communicate effectively and interact professionally under pressure
• Reasoning ability: follow established guidelines with little or no action; decide product quality and acceptability

Compensation

• Competitive starting pay rate of $18.18 per hour, paid weekly
• Pay: Competitive starting pay rate based on experience and qualifications

Available Shifts

• 1st Shift:
