Job summary

Astrix Inc. in Fairfield County, CT, is seeking Medical Device Assemblers for contract roles. This position involves hand assembly, testing, and packaging of sub-assemblies and finished products in a clean room environment, following approved method sheets.

First and second shifts are available. Pay ranges from $17.50 to $18.50 per hour, with duties including mechanical and electrical testing and adherence to GMP-like procedures.

Qualifications

• Experience with hand assembly in a production or assembly line environment.
• Ability to assemble small parts using microscopes or magnification tools.
• Soldering experience preferred.
• Medical device assembly experience preferred.
• Knowledge of factory assembly processes and procedures.

Responsibilities

• Perform hand assembly of sub-assemblies and finished products, working independently and as part of a team.
• Build intricate assemblies by following approved method sheets and written procedures.
• Conduct mechanical and electrical testing on completed sub-assemblies and finished goods to ensure compliance with product specifications.
• Perform a variety of assembly duties within one or more factory work cells.
• Maintain a clean and organized work environment and assist with daily housekeeping activities as required.
• Follow all written method sheet procedures across multiple product lines.
• Wear required work cell attire, which may include mandatory uniforms and/or clean room garments.
• Follow direction provided by team leads or supervisors.
• Perform additional duties or assignments as required by management.

Our client is a global medical device manufacturer and they are seeking additional Medical Device Assemblers to join their team! This position would performassembly, testing, and packaging of sub-assemblies and finished products in a clean room environment in accordance with approved method sheets.

CONTRACT POSITION
Shift:1st and 2nd shift available
Pay:$17.50-18.50/hour

Key Responsibilities
