Job summary

Astrix Inc. in Trumbull, CT is seeking an Assembly Technician to join their team and help assemble, test, and package electromechanical components in a regulated manufacturing environment.

The role follows first shift hours (Mon-Thurs, 6:00 AM to 4:30 PM) on a contract basis with potential for extension or conversion. Candidates should have hands-on assembly experience and strong attention to detail.

Qualifications

  • 2+ years of electromechanical or hands-on assembly experience in a manufacturing environment.
  • Experience with hand tools and small-part assembly.
  • Ability to read and follow written procedures.
  • Soldering experience preferred.
  • Medical device or regulated manufacturing experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Assemble small, precision components using hand tools and magnification equipment.
  • Build sub-assemblies and finished products according to work instructions.
  • Perform basic mechanical and electrical testing.
  • Maintain a clean and organized production area.
  • Follow all safety, PPE, ESD, and clean room requirements.
  • Identify quality concerns and communicate issues to leadership.

Pay rate: $19-$21/hr
Schedule: 1st shift (Mon-Thurs. 6AM-4:30PM)
