Job summary

Ascend Staffing is seeking a Packaging and Order Fulfillment Worker for a freezer environment. The role involves packing, weighing, and labeling items for shipment, following packaging guidelines, and keeping accurate records.

You will work Day Shift 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM, Monday to Wednesday, and receive weekly pay of $18.00 per hour plus benefits. Qualification includes GED or high school diploma, ability to lift 50–75 pounds, and the legal right to work in the US.

Qualifications

• Packing and order fulfillment in a freezer environment is preferred.
• GED or High School Diploma required.
• Able to pass a pre-employment drug screen.
• Able to pass a background check.
• Authorized to work in the US.
• Able to lift 50-75 pounds in a zero-degree environment.
• Good vision, depth perception, hearing and speech.
• Must follow written and verbal instructions.

Responsibilities

• Pack, weigh, and label items for shipment or storage in a zero-degree environment.
• Follow all packaging guidelines and supervisor instructions.
• Identify and dispose of defective items.
• Use packaging materials and tools as needed.
• Keep complete records of all materials that go through the warehouse.
• Maintain a clean work area.

• Pack, weigh, and label completed items for shipment or storage in zero-degree environment. Warm dress is required
• Follow all company guidelines regarding packaging, and instructions from supervisor
• Identify and dispose of defective items
• Properly use packaging materials, including hand tools, glues, nails, padding, etc.
• Keep complete records of all materials that go through the warehouse
• Maintain a clean work area
