Job summary

Automation Displays, Inc. is seeking a Packaging and Forklift Operator to support production in our Wisconsin facility. You will package, label, stage, and move goods, ensuring accuracy, safety, and adherence to customer specs while aiding material flow.

The role requires operating forklifts, inspecting shipments, maintaining inventory accuracy, and supporting cross-training and continuous improvement. A high school diploma and forklift certification (or ability to obtain) are preferred; ERP/MRP

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Previous forklift operating experience preferred.
• Forklift certification or ability to obtain certification required.
• Experience utilizing ERP/MRP systems, barcode scanners, or inventory systems preferred.

Responsibilities

• Package finished products per specifications and quality standards.
• Verify quantities, part numbers, labels, and packaging requirements.
• Prepare products for shipment by assembling cartons, pallets, and protective packaging.
• Safely operate forklifts and transport materials and finished goods.
• Maintain inventory accuracy through proper transactions and documentation.
• Support cross-training and continuous improvement initiatives.

Automation Displays, Inc. is growing and looking to hire dynamic team members!

Position: Packaging and Forklift Operator

Department: Production

Schedule: M-F from 7:00 am - 3:30 pm

Position Summary

The Packager/Forklift Operator is responsible for packaging, labeling, staging, and moving finished goods, materials, and inventory throughout the manufacturing facility. This position ensures products are packaged accurately, safely, and in accordance with customer specifications while supporting efficient material flow throughout the operation.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Package finished products in accordance with customer specifications, work instructions, and quality standards.
• Verify product quantities, part numbers, labels, and packaging requirements prior to shipment or storage.
• Prepare products for shipment by assembling cartons, crates, pallets, and protective packaging materials.
• Label, identify, and stage finished goods for shipping or storage.
• Safely operate forklifts and other material handling equipment to transport materials, inventory, and finished goods throughout the facility.
• Load and unload materials, products, and shipments as required.
• Perform routine inspections of forklifts and material handling equipment and report maintenance concerns.
• Maintain inventory accuracy through proper material handling, transactions, and documentation.
• Assist with inventory counts, cycle counts, and inventory reconciliation activities.
• Inspect finished products and packaging for damage, quality concerns, or discrepancies.
• Identify and report quality, inventory, equipment, or safety concerns to leadership.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment consistent with 5S principles.
• Follow all company safety policies, procedures, and safe work practices.
• Support cross-training activities and assist in other operational areas as needed.
• Participate in continuous improvement initiatives focused on safety, quality, productivity, and material flow.
• Collaborate with Production, Shipping, Inventory, and Operations teams to support customer requirements.
• Perform other duties and special projects as assigned.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Previous manufacturing, warehouse, shipping, packaging, or material handling experience preferred.
• Previous forklift operating experience preferred.
• Forklift certification or ability to obtain certification required.
• Basic computer and documentation skills preferred.
• Experience utilizing ERP/MRP systems, barcode scanners, or inventory systems preferred.
