Ellsworth Corporation, a global, industry leading distributor of specialty chemicals and equipment currently has a Packager opportunity at Ellsworth Adhesives. This role reports into our TapeCase division located in Elk Grove Village, IL.

At TapeCase, we design, convert, manufacture, and distribute highly engineered adhesive tape products. We add value to the highly engineered products we sell by enhancing their delivered formats by offering expansive tape converting services to provide a custom tape solution for nearly any application. You will inspect, label, pack, and prepare products for shipment for a Business Unit(s). Coordinate department activities and training in cooperation with the Warehouse Lead.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Identifies finished products and labels while inspecting for quality, places product in boxes and applies labels and assembles for shipping
  • Quarantines non-conforming product
  • Performs more advanced labeling duties and job orders to ensure optimal accuracy and efficiency
  • Executes all duties and responsibilities of Finisher, Associate as needed

QUALIFICATIONS

  • 2 years of production experience required
  • High school diploma or equivalency, preferred
  • Follows and understands established operating processes
  • Able to operate with minimal direct supervision
  • Able to anticipate potential issues that will need resolution
  • Demonstrated ability to consistently achieve productivity levels
  • Lifts and/or moves up to 50 lbs
