Job summary

Meridian Adhesives Group is seeking a Packager I.II.III in Las Vegas to inspect finished products and pack them into cases for shipment or storage. The role supports Batch Makers by pulling product from machines and preparing containers. Strong attention to quality, accuracy, and safety is essential.

You must have a High School diploma or GED, related experience, forklift familiarity, and a valid driver's license. The job offers a Monday–Friday schedule with competitive pay and benefits.

Responsibilities

  • Maintain equipment with pre-, in-process, and post-batch inspections and report issues to Production Supervisor.
  • Ensure packaged products are secured for shipping.
  • Check product quality and discard damaged items.
  • Keep work area, facility, and equipment clean and safe per housekeeping standards.
  • Cap or plug hoses and plumbing fittings when not in use.
  • Store raw materials, drums, totes, etc. in designated locations.
  • Remove empty containers and packaging before end of shift.
  • Keep equipment clean of residue; rinse mop heads and buckets and return to storage area.
  • Return cleaning equipment to assigned area after use.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Job Summary This role is responsible for handling and inspecting finished products for defects and packing them into cases of various sizes for shipment or storage. Packagers will assist Batch Makers in pulling product from machines and properly placing them to the correct containers.

Duties & Responsibilities

  • Maintain assigned equipment by performing required pre-operational, in process and post batch inspections. Immediately report any possibilities of contamination, needed mechanical repair or safety issues to the Production Supervisor.
  • Ensure packaged products are secured for shipping
  • Check product for quality and discard damaged product
  • Maintain a clean and safe work area, facility and equipment by following routine housekeeping standards.
  • Cap or plug hose and plumbing fittings when not in use.
  • Properly store all properly capped, covered or closed operating supplies such as raw materials, drums, totes, etc. in their designated locations before the end of the shift.
  • Remove empty raw material containers, packages, bags, and sacks before the end of the shift.
  • Equipment must be kept clean of raw material residue, chemicals and adhesive.
  • Sweep and mop work areas as needed and at the end of each shift. Rinse mop heads and mop buckets and return to the proper storage area after each use.
  • Return cleaning equipment to assigned area after each use.
  • Other duties as assigned

Qualifications & Educational Requirements

  • High School diploma or G.E.D.
  • Experience in a related field
  • Forklift experience is a plus
  • Valid state driver’s license, with a good driving record

Physical Requirements

  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds at times.

Information & Compensation & Benefits

Location: Las Vegas, Nevada

Schedule: Monday – Friday from 6:00 AM- 2:30 PM

Pay: This position has a salary range of $19.00- $20.00 per hour. The above range represents the expected salary range for this position. The actual salary may vary based upon several factors, including, but not limited to, relevant skills/experience, time in the role, business line, and geographic location

Bonus Pay: Meridian offers an incentive plan for 2025 focused on safety, quality, and financial metrics. Eligible employees have the opportunity to earn up to $1,520 a year, with earned payments distributed quarterly throughout the year.
