First Shift: 7:00am-3:30pm for full time, flexible hours for part-time
Reports to: Operations Manager
FLSA Status: Non-exempt, full-time hourly or non-exempt, part-time hourly

Summary:
The Packer is responsible for performing various packaging tasks, including packing, labeling, marking, banding, and counting products. This role ensures that all finished goods are packaged according to specifications and that packaging materials are adequately stocked in the manufacturing area. Additional responsibilities may include light cleaning duties.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities:

  1. Pack and label products according to work instructions and quality standards.
  2. Inspect packaging to ensure compliance with specifications.
  3. Unload products from equipment and repackage materials as needed.
  4. Maintain inventory of packaging supplies, including wrapping paper, plastic sheets, boxes, cartons, sealing tape, and labels.
  5. Perform light cleaning duties as required.
  6. Follow all safety and security procedures.
  7. Other duties as assigned.

Education & Experience:
High School diploma or GED, or
Six months to one year of related experience/training, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
