Job summary

PackageJet LLC is looking for Delivery Drivers in Grand Rapids. This full-time role offers flexible schedules and the opportunity to deliver Amazon packages. No prior delivery experience is needed, and you will receive training.

The ideal candidate must be at least 21 years old with a clean driving record, capable of lifting packages and working on weekends. Competitive wages, performance bonuses, and health benefits are available.

Responsibilities

• Deliver up to 250+ packages on your route.
• Perform pre-trip vehicle inspection and post-trip inspection.
• Attend stand-up meeting at the beginning of each shift.

Qualifications

• A Delivery Driver must be at least 21 years old
• Have a clean driving record
• Need to be able to walk up multiple flights of stairs
• Deliver packages up to 50lbs although most are significantly lighter
• Make more than 150 stops per day
• Locate addresses via GPS and tech
• Must pass a 4 Panel Drug Test
• Excellent Attendance Record
• Excellent Time Management Skills
• Work 10 hours per shift, including weekdays, weekends, & holidays (We operate 7 days a week, 361 days a year)
• Rest and meal breaks available
• Routes will be similar each day but not always the same
• Training routes will be issued in the beginning for 2 weeks with the expectation to build to full route

No Delivery Experience Required

Typical Day as a member of the Packagejet Team

• Arrive at the Grand Rapids Amazon distribution facility by the required time to receive your van assignment
• Attend the beginning of shift stand up meeting discussing problems and issues for the day
• Receive your route assignment and the company provided Smartphone/GPS device
• Perform a Pre-trip vehicle inspection thoroughly checking the van for damage
• Deliver up to 250+ packages on your route. (Smartphone/GPS device has the complete route pre-determined along with delivery estimates for each delivery)
• Possibly help another driver as directed
• Return van to station after refueling it for the next day (company will provide a fuel card)
• Remove all trash & debris from van
• Return Smartphone/GPS scanner device and keys; debrief with manager
• Perform post trip inspection noting any required maintenance items
