Job summary

SPX Technologies is seeking a Package Project Manager to lead orders and full-cycle project management for assigned territories, serving as a key technical resource for sales teams and ensuring on-time shipments while protecting margins.

The role emphasizes cross-functional collaboration with suppliers, manufacturing, and internal teams, with an emphasis on change orders, pricing controls, compliance, and quality feedback to optimize customer satisfaction and business results.

Qualifications

• 1-2 years of project or construction management experience or related customer service experience.
• Strong knowledge of Microsoft Excel, Access, Word, and PowerPoint.
• Strong problem solving and analytical skills, with ability to identify issues, propose solutions, and effectively implement changes.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to collaborate with cross-function teams at all levels and present data and recommendations.
• Solid base of leadership skills.

Responsibilities

• Manage orders and projects from start to finish.
• Plan deliveries and shipments to balance customer needs with business financial goals.
• Coordinate with suppliers, manufacturing, and internal teams to resolve project issues.
• Maintain target margins through change order management and pricing controls.
• Support compliance and contract reviews, and track project status.
• Conduct weekly plant visits to support quality improvements and risk mitigation.
• Support finance with cash collection and manage insurance, bonds, and letters of credit.
• Process warranty, claims, and HVAC issues; manage returns and back charges.
