Job summary

FITS is seeking a seasoned engineering professional for Packaging and Production services in the Engineering area. The role emphasizes managing tie-in and site-integration projects while coordinating with operations to minimize production disruption.

The candidate should hold a Bachelor's degree in a relevant field, have at least five years of experience, and be bilingual in English and Spanish. Expect involvement in GMP change control, site MOC processes, and live-plant execution.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Chemical, or Civil Engineering, or Construction Management, or related with at least five(5) years of experience.
• Bilingual in English and Spanish.
• Experience with GMP change control and operating-site MOC processes.
• Proven ability to execute in live-plant conditions without disrupting production.

Responsibilities

• Own a portfolio of tie-in and site-integration sub-projects; manage each through definition, design, execution, and turnover.
• Partner with operations on production-impact planning, shutdown windows, and change control under the operating site's quality system.
• Coordinate tie-ins with the Tie-In / Site Integration Manager and with the PC21 Utilities PM.
• Support and manage contractor mobilization to brownfield environments — escorts, training, GMP gowning, restricted-zone protocols.
• Drive HSE and quality compliance in live-plant conditions; lead Management of Change (MOC) submissions.
• Report cost/schedule status per sub-project; escalate risks to plant operations promptly.
