Kelley Bean Company in Morrill, NE is seeking a Package Machine Operator (Full Time) to set up, operate, monitor, and troubleshoot packaging equipment. You will maintain clean work areas, ensure accurate documentation, and communicate effectively with the team to meet customer specifications.

The role requires attention to detail, willingness to perform heavy lifting, and the ability to work in a fast-paced warehouse. Prior forklift experience and basic mechanical skills are preferred.

• Maintain cleanliness to prevent contamination and follow safety policies.
• Communicate effectively with Operators, Scheduler, Maintenance, and Supervision.

Package Machine Operator (Full Time)

About the Role:

A packaging operator is responsible for performing various tasks to set-up , operate , monitor, clean, and troubleshoot packaging equipment. Maintaining department cleanliness, documentation accuracy, effective communication, and excellent interpersonal skills are a must.

Essential Functions :

These are the essential functions of the job which are required to be completed with or without reasonable accommodation . Other duties may be assigned.

Set- up of Packaging Equipment .

Verification of packaging component lot numbers to be used (Product, Poly, Cases) .

Entry and verification of proper customer information on printing systems .

Case print integrity .

Bag fill weight checks .

Case packer operation .

Monitor product/bag quality and make necessary machine adjustments throughout packaging runs to maintain customer specifications.

Perform all assigned tasks in compliance with P.A.S.S policies, safety regulations, cGMPs, and any government associated policies.

Maintain Department Cleanliness to Prevent Contamination of Products

Packaging Line, Wash area, and E ntry ways .

Must be able to communicate effectively with Operators, Scheduler, Maintenance, and Supervision.

Material lot numbers

Waste (Poly and Cardboard)

Reasoning Ability : Able to make reasonable judgments with many variables that are often changing.

Mathematical Ability : Able to accurately complete math problems that include addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division.

Physical Requirements : Must be able to sit, walk and stand . Occasional lifting up to 50 pounds required . Must use hands to feel or handle objects . Must be able to speak and hear . Close vision is necessary.

Work Environment : Work is conducted in the plant environment which includes loud noise, dust, mechanical/moving parts and outside weather conditions . Conduct Heavy lifting as required . Up to 50lbs individual lift . Higher weights require additional personnel for assistance .
