Job summary

Western International in Birmingham, AL is seeking Class A CDL Packaged Gas Truck Drivers to haul cylinders of compressed gases and make regional deliveries. This position offers clean, consistent, year-round work with no down periods.

The role includes a schedule from Monday to Friday with early start times (between 4am-6am), potential layovers, and comprehensive benefits such as health, dental, vision insurance, paid holidays, vacation, 401(k) with company match, and life insurance.

Qualifications

CDL Class A with current DOT medical card.
2 years of CDL Class A experience or 1.5 years of experience with certification from an accredited trucking school.
Must have prior experience driving manual 10 speed transmission and be able to pass the road test.
Current Hazmat
No more than 1 traffic violation in last 2 years
No at-fault accidents in last 2 years
No DUI/DWI in last 5 years (1 lifetime max)
Pass DOT physical, drug screen, and background check

Responsibilities

Haul cylinders of compressed gases and make regional deliveries to our customers.
Operate vehicle in a safe and compliant manner while maintaining efficient delivery schedules.

What We Offer:

$85,000 - $95,000 Average Annual Income
Schedule: M-F – Start time between 4am-6am (2 Layovers a week)
Up to $325 Safety Bonus per month

Requirements
