Job Description

The Pack Warehouse Supervisor (Pick/Pack experience required) guides and controls warehouse activities to ensure accurate storing and distributing of raw materials and finished goods. Supervises timely delivery of merchandise in the amount ordered, while maintaining the security of the warehouse. Provides a safe working environment through compliance with safety programs.

Job Responsibilities

1. Coordinates the planning and assignment of work, achieving the most efficient use of personnel and equipment.
2. Responsible for maintaining inventory and helping establish inventory levels based on prior usage and future demand.
3. Receives incoming shipments and packages from various carriers and enters information into tracking systems for disbursement.
4. Inspects incoming deliveries for accuracy and quality based on the product order and rejects undesirable items.
5. Supervises the warehouse and inventory to ensure security and upkeep at all times.
6. Assists in ordering from site vendors by advising management and sometimes contacting vendors directly.
7. Develops and recommends improvements in warehouse practices to promote efficiency, faster service, and lower costs.
8. Provides training for warehouse employees and may assist in their selection.
9. Uncrates shipments as required and properly disposes of or stores containers and packaging.

Qualifications

• Requires 3-5 years of experience in a shipping/receiving supervisor role.
• Requires basic mathematical skills such as addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division.
• Must possess and maintain a valid driver’s license and a good driving record.
• Must have excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Must be flexible and able to adjust to variable work demands.
• This role may involve physical demands including lifting, bending, pushing, pulling, and extended walking or standing. Uniforms and/or PPE may be required.
