Timken Aurora Bearing Company seeks a Pack & Ship Operator to join its Shipping & Receiving team. The role performs a variety of tasks to ensure proper packaging, labeling, and handling of parts in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent (required; trades/technical education preferred).
• Mechanical aptitude and basic shop math skills.
• Ability to follow written and verbal work instructions.
• Strong communication with coworkers, suppliers, and leadership.

Responsibilities

• Clean parts using bath, wipe, or scrape methods.
• Apply proper lubricant by injection, bath, or hand application.
• Inspect parts for defects such as cracks, poor plating, or damage.
• Verify correct part numbers, assemble packaging, and attach labeling.
• Install press fit or threaded fittings into parts.
• Assemble linkages and verify against print specifications.
• Operate machines such as aqueous washer, demagnetizer, and greaser.
• Stock finished goods cage and assist real-time inventory maintenance.
• Perform inkjet marking operations as required.
