Job summary

Acushnet Company in Lakeville, MA is seeking a Pack/Ship Associate to operate automated packaging equipment and prepare golf balls for shipment. You will stock, label, and stage orders, while maintaining a clean production area and adhering to safety and quality standards.

The role requires teamwork, reliability, and the ability to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. On-site position with opportunities to learn multiple packing areas.

• Must pass all Health Services testing requirements for this position.

Responsibilities

• Operate the Automated Packaging machine to pack golf balls into packaging/sleeves to prepare for shipping and/or hand package golf balls.
• Pickup and stock items and/or provide Dryroom support on the production floor for Custom packaging.
• Run automated packaging machine, rotating through various functions (operating, slam dunk, end of belt pack).
• Obtain balls to pack and any necessary packaging materials.
• Label and prepare orders for shipping and close out orders in Viewlocity.
• Pack balls into packaging and place packaged balls into shipping cartons.
• Apply shipping label and follow all shipping instructions on traveler.
• Obtain balls to be packed and necessary packaging.
• Construct packaging material on Randle/Doe Boy machine if necessary.
• Dry Room: Sort trucks by ball types, order size and packing area.
• Monitor Dryroom temperatures.
• Obtain and read travelers for decoration type, ball type, required date, and order size.
• Tag orders by dates, watch for late orders and must ships.
• Place all Pad print trucks into Dry room and label time for removal from Dry room.
• Stage all orders into Viewlocity.
• Maintain housekeeping of area and empty trucks.
