Job summary

American Conservation Experience (ACE) is seeking members for Pacific West conservation projects across California. Term options include 13 or 26 weeks, with hands-on fieldwork in habitats, trails, and restoration under professional supervision.

Start date is November 2, 2026, with end dates in March or June 2027. Sacramento-based housing is provided; per diem and housing vary by location. Applicants must be U.S. citizens or permanent residents and able to work outdoors in diverse conditions.

Qualifications

• Applicants should be prepared to perform physically demanding labor for 10 hours a day.
• Expect hiking on rough terrain and multi-day field segments.
• Willingness to undergo required criminal history checks and E-Verify requirements.
