Job summary

Conservation Legacy is seeking a Crew Member for AmeriCorps service across Western U.S. projects. Term runs 10/26/26–12/11/26; non-residential with gear provided. Members work in teams on trail work, habitat improvement, and conservation tasks, learning environment ethics and Leave No Trace principles.

Eligibility includes US residency, 17+ years old, HS diploma or equivalent, and criminal history check. Living allowance and education award accompany the program.

Qualifications

• US citizen, national, or lawful permanent resident
• At least 17 years of age
• HS diploma or equivalent or plan to obtain one
• Consent to National Service Criminal History Check
• Commitment to program for full term
• Willingness to learn and collaborate with peers
• Ability to work long days in challenging conditions

Responsibilities

• Work effectively as a member of a team
• Participate in conservation projects, education, training and national service
• Learn and apply new outdoor skills for service work
• Communicate ideas and concerns with leaders, crew, and staff
• Represent the program and community on project site
